Anissa Rafeh, MA, Managing Director

Anissa Rafeh received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Richmond in 1995, majoring in Political Science with a minor in French. She went on to receive her Master’s of Arts degree in Political Studies and Public Administration at the American University of Beirut in 1999. She is a native English speaker and has extensive experience in editing and writing, having worked in journalism and publishing for 15 years. Most recently, she was the Production Editor at Executive Business Magazine (2002-2004) and the editor of the entertainment magazine, What’s Up? (2004-2006), both of which are headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon. She authored Miss Guided: How to Step Into the Lebanese Glam Lane (Turning Point Books, November 2008) and writes her own blog, anissarafeh.blogspot.com. She is also a well-known columnist, contributing The Lighter Side each month to the English version of Sayidity magazine, which is distributed throughout the Middle East.
